An IVR greeting is a recorded message that callers hear when they call your virtual number, for example, “Hello, you have reached…” with background music. We record it for you with a professional speaker. You choose the speaker, the music and the text, and we deliver the ready greeting.

What you need before you order:
- A voice number in your Personal Account. See How to purchase a number.
- The text of your greeting.
- Enough money on your balance to pay for the order. The price depends on the speaker, language, and text length. You see the final cost on the last step, before you confirm the order.
For example, a greeting with the speaker Cassandra Joans, no background music, no sound effect and a duration of 4 seconds costs 152.00 USD.
How to order a professional greeting:
To order a voice greeting from us, click "Order IVR" in the call forwarding settings or in a separate tab in your personal account.- Click "Place an order".
- Select the speaker’s language and click "Next". There are 19 languages.
- Select a speaker’s voice (you can listen to each one beforehand by clicking the play button). There are more than 50 male and female speakers. Then click "Next".
- Select music accompaniment and sound effects. Use the reset button to clear your choice. Then click the "Next" button. Skip this step by clicking "Next" if you do not require any sound effects.
- Enter the text of your voice greeting and your comments on the following points:
- the text (tone, delivery and pace, as well as the transcription of proper names for example, a name or a brand);
- background music and sound effects (where and
when they should be played).
- use the timing option to set the timing. - Click "Calculate price"
- The summary shows the announcer’s voice, background music, sound effect, greeting duration and the cost. Review the order and click the “BUY” button. To change something, click “BACK”
For a successful order, you need to have a sufficient sum on your balance. If the sum on your balance is insufficient to pay for the order, you will be notified by the system. See Payment methods.
What happens next
- After payment, you receive a confirmation email.
- The recording usually takes up to 5 business days. When the greeting is ready, you receive an email with the audio file.
- After the successful order payment, expect a confirmation letter to be sent to your registered email. You will be notified via email as soon as the order is ready. See How to upload the voice greeting and set up the voicemail.
Tips for a good greeting:
- Keep it short: one or two sentences are enough.
- Write numbers and abbreviations the way they should be pronounced.
- Use the comment box for the correct pronunciation of names and brands.
- Check the text for typos before you confirm the order, because the greeting is recorded as written. A repeated recording of the same greeting costs 5 USD.
Multi-level IVR and related services
If you need a multi-level menu (“press 1 for sales, press 2 for support”) or extension dialling for internal numbers on your virtual number, this is a separate service. We record the greeting and configure the menu for you. You can order it by sending your technical specifications to the support department for a quote.
